No equipment with you but want to work out?
Effective leg exercises you can squeeze in anywhere – during a trip, at home, during a walk. All you need is to find a little space and ideally a bench. No extra equipment needed.
- Bulgarian Split Squats (rear leg elevated – see pic)
- Squats with Arms Overhead
- Walking Lunges with Rotations (hold hands at chest level, rotate torso towards the direction of the leg up front)
- Sumo Squats (wide squats)
- Jumping Jacks
Alternate 1 set of 10 reps of the leg exercises, and 5 push-ups.
Workout your way up to 4 Rounds.
Alternate 1 set of 8 reps each leg exercise/ 10 triceps dips on the bench, and 1 min walk or jog (in place, if you are inside and don’t have a treadmill close by)
