Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars

Here a Walnut Version

Base Recipe

Here is a base version of a recipe I like to use in different variations. You can add Nuts, Dates, Coconuts or other dried fruits to mix it up. Even chocolate chips would be possible ;o)

When adding dry ingredients (eg. when using cocoa powder), I substitute the brown sugar with honey or Maple Syrup.

Lots of Oats and Other Healthy Ingredients

What You Need

1.5 Cups Quick-cooking Oats
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1.5 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
2 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Tsp Vanilla extract
1/2 Cup Almond Milk
1 Egg
1 Banana
1/4 Cup Peanut Butter
Optional:
1/4 Cup Walnuts OR
1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips

The Dark Ones Are Made With Cocoa Powder

Just mix the ingredients together. Spread out on flat pan lined with baking parchment.
Bake @ 350F for 15-20 min (depends on thickness of dish).
