Creamy Avocado Date Smoothie

I love to find ideas for healthy snack/ meals and add a little tweak to them. Stay fit and fuel your workouts with this vegan and gluten-free smoothie.

Both dates and avocados are a great source of fiber, and a variety of vitamins and minerals. Dates are loaded with healthy carbohydrates, and avocados offer lots of healthy, monounsaturated fat.

-) 3 Medjool Dates
-) 1 ripe Avocado
-) 1 soft Banana
-) 1/4 Cup Ground Nuts
-) 1 Cup Soy Milk, unsweetened
-) 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

Put all ingredients in a tall mixing bowl. Use an immersion blender to blend all ingredients together. As long as the ingredients are pretty soft, a hand blender will be sufficient.

To make it creamier, add an extra 1/2 of a banana. To make it more liquid, add more milk.

Pour it into a glass and enjoy it. It tastes lovely. Especially after a workout!
